The Quran for Muslims is the perfect book. (QUOTES)

The Quran for Muslims is the perfect book.

It was sent down by Allah, through his angel Jabreel, who revealed the 114 chapters over the course of 23 years to Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him. It was his life’s mission to deliver this message to mankind and help guide and save them.

What Makes the Quran Perfect?

The Quran is free from any doubts as it’s sent by Allah himself, it teaches people to live a balanced life (both socially and spiritually), been preserved and unchanged for centuries, it’s also the only book that has been memorized cover to cover by thousands if not millions of people since its revelation.

Below are 159 of some of the best and most beautiful Quranic Quotes we’ve compiled across every chapter of the Quran. These quotes from Quran will inspire and motivate you. We hope you find this useful, if you do please don’t just keep all this information to yourself.

THE BEST QUOTES FROM THE QURAN

CHAPTER 1 – SURAH FATIHA QUOTES

“Guide Us To The Straight Path” – Surah Fatiha Ayat 6

CHAPTER 2 – SURAH BAQARAH QUOTES

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah – Baqarah Ayat 2

“….so whenever guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows my guidance, then there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.” Ayat 38
“And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].” Ayat 42

There are some jaw dropping quotes from the Quran that leave you in awe the first time you read them, for me this was a powerful one. Through life experience I’ve noticed countless times by observing others and myself that we do not like to admit or faults or try to conceal our vices. I believe this is human nature, we unknowingly do this as a defense mechanism to protect our ego. Sometimes we delude ourselves so much we begin to believe our own lies. So, in a way, this ayat is telling us not too fool ourselves. I’ve found the best way to avoid fooling ourselves is to simply try our best to do what is right, doesn’t matter who sees it. Do the right thing for your own psyche and you will no longer have to “conceal with falsehood” because the rest won’t matter, you did the right thing. Sometimes it helps to believe your in a movie and everything is being recorded, and in a way it is, but on that day when you get to rewind and play back the tape it will be too late.

“Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah.” Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.” Surah Baqarah Ayat 83

We’ve all heard sayings like “If you have nothing good to say then don’t say it” but we realize this is actually difficult in practice. We at some point in our life say things we regret and wish we could take back. So, this quote from the Quran is just a reminder that nothing good comes from screaming negativity. A useful tactic I’ve learned when you’re angry or about to send a ‘passionate’ email with strong wording is to just wait one day. If you feel the same way tomorrow morning then go ahead and press send but you’ll notice you won’t be as emotionally invested in letting the other party know exactly how you feel. After all, it’s better to take the high road, it’s less crowded.

“So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.” Surah Baqarah Verse 152

Nothing in this world can happen without the will of Allah. This is similar to message from hadith in Sahih Muslim number 2675: “I am near to the thought of my servant as he thinks about me, and I am with him as he remembers me. And if he remembers me in his heart, I also remember him in my heart, and if he remembers me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards me, I rush towards him.”

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return” Ayat 156

It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them.” Ayat 187
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” Ayat 286

Allah does not charge a soul except that which is within its capacity. How many struggles or adversities have you overcome in life thus far? Remember the last thing you thought would destroy you or seemed insurmountable… but look here you are still standing. We think in isolation and believe the most recent problem is the greatest but the truth is all our troubles have been experienced by humanity before us. So when in the Quran it mentions “lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us” we must realize that these problems are not new, they have been handled and solved by those before us we just have to be creative and search for the solutions instead of being anxious and afraid.

CHAPTER 3 – SURAH IMRAN QUOTES

“Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.” Ayat 51

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers.” Ayat 103

United we stand, divided we fall. This ayat is the same notion, in order to be successful we need the help of other people. Question, how can we be united when the message ingrained in us since we were children was ‘avoid talking to strangers’ or ‘stranger danger’. This message does not serve us as adults and the reality is we should talk to strangers. These are the people who make up our communities our masjids and can be a source of support and help.

“Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.” Ayat 185

This is a reminder of our mortality. If you passed away today would you be satisfied with that which you had accomplished? Are you proud of the life and your legacy? If not, I’ve got some good news…you are still alive. Tomorrow is a new day and you can change directions. To reach a destination does take time, you can’t arrive at a 10 year destination overnight, but to change directions you can do that today. You just have to decide, commit, and be specific.

For example, if you’re not happy about your weight tomorrow you can begin your exercise regimen of doing 10 minutes of cardio everyday at 10am. Just make a promise to yourself for one month to see it through. After day one you won’t see any results but after day 14 you’ll see some results.

So remember, you’re going to die but it doesn’t have to be in vain, decide what is important and work towards it. You have the power to change directions overnight and don’t have to repeat the next 5 years like the past five.

CHAPTER 4 – AN NISA QUOTES

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth.” Surah Imran Ayat 34

O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them – perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.” Surah Imran Ayat 19

“Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction.” Ayat 78.

Another Quran quote about death, it’s one I constantly think about. Humans are the only life form aware of their mortality, it’s an inevitable truth we can’t escape. This quote from the Quran is a reminder it doesn’t matter if you live in a villa or palace death will find you. We often strive for wealth (and there’s nothing wrong with that goal)  but some fail at spending their entire life in the pursuit of money and won’t be able to buy back time lost.

CHAPTER 5 – SURAH MA’IDAH QUOTES

quote from surah maidah verse 55
“Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed – those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship].” Verse 55

“O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.” Surah Maidah Ayat 90

“O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is your return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.” Ayat 105

CHAPTER 6 – SURAH AN’AM QUOTES

“And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, “Be,” and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.” Ayat 73

“And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?” Surah Anam Ayat 32

CHAPTER 7 – SURAH A’RAF QUOTES

“Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.” Surah Anam Ayah 56

“And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You.” [ Allah ] said, “My punishment – I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things.” So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses –” Ayat 156

“Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah . Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.” Surah Al-A’raf Ayat 199-200

“So when the Qur’an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.” Ayat 204

CHAPTER 8 – SURAH ANFAL QUOTES

“But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” Surah Anfal Verse 33

“[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, “Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another.” Surah Anfal Verse 9

CHAPTER 9 – SURAH TAWBAH QUOTES

“Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.” Surah Tawbah Ayat 116

“Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah . That is better for you, if you only knew.” Surah Taubah Ayat 41

CHAPTER 10 – SURAH YUNUS QUOTES

“Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know” – Quote From Surah Yunus Ayat 55

And they say, “Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?” So say, “The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.” Surah Yunus Ayat 20

CHAPTER 11 – SURAH HUD QUOTES

“And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful. But if We give him a taste of favor after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, “Bad times have left me.” Indeed, he is exultant and boastful– ” Surah Hud Ayat 9-10

How often have we heard of stories of people that become full of themselves when they achieve success, they believe in their own greatness. They fall short at understanding it was Allah who decreed success for you. Understanding that you did the work but Allah gave the result removes any arrogance or pride allows you to remain humble and grateful.

“88. He said, “O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him… ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.” Ayat 88

CHAPTER 12 – SURAH YUSUF QUOTES

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur’an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.” Ayat 111

The Quran is basically the best how to book. It contains within all the answers on how to conduct ourselves, how to behave, social laws, divorce laws, inheritance, business, hygiene, love, charity, etc.

CHAPTER 13 – SURAH AR RA’D QUOTES

“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured. Those who have believed and done righteous deeds – a good state is theirs and a good return.” Surah R’ad Ayat 28-29

“For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.” Ayat 11

Islam is a religion where the responsibility is placed on the individual. He is given complete free will to do as he pleases, that’s why in the Quran it also states “there is no compulsion to religion”. You have to want to change for the change to occur.

CHAPTER 14 – SURAH IBRAHIM QUOTES

“Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.” Ayat 41

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.” Islamic Quote From Surah Ibrahim Ayat 7

CHAPTER 20 – SURAH TA-HA QUOTES

“…every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives” Surah Ta Ha Ayat 20

CHAPTER 21 – SURAH AL-ANBIYA QUOTES

“Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.” Surah Anbiya Ayat 35

CHAPTER 22 – SURAH HAJJ QUOTES

So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts” Ayat 46

Our eyes can’t lie, we observe things as they are but having clear vision is not enough. Errors of judgement and behavior comes from emotional impulses, that is people are often blinded by the heart. The heart can pull a curtain over the eyes giving a false narrative, so it’s important to work on achieving a clear heart which in turn will will gives us the right perspective.

CHAPTER 23 – SURAH MU’MINOON QUOTES

CHAPTER 25 – SURAH AL-FURQAN QUOTES

“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,” Verse 63
